Route 4 Area
Located in the heart of Bergen County, NJ the Route 4 area is a great place to
rent an apartment, house or condo. One end of this area is a busy semi-urban
atmosphere with numerous shops and restaurants. There is a generous
population of young and single people, which helps to keep Route 4 apartment
rentals moderately priced, whether you are searching for one, two or
three bedroom units. There is also an abundance of New York City commuters.
An entrance to the George Washington Bridge is located in Fort Lee.
Route 4 is a direct run to the GWB. As you travel west on this highway the area takes on an active suburban atmosphere.
Located along the way are Farleigh Dickenson University and the Garden State Plaza shopping center (the fifth largest mall in the country).
There are county golf courses located in both Teaneck and Paramus.
Paramus also has a municipal golf course.
Route 17, the Garden State Parkway and the Palisades Parkway cross over the area.
The state of the art Hackensack Medical Center is located in Hackensack and Holy name Hospital is located in Teaneck.
